“The best antidote I have found is to yearn for something. As long as you yearn, you can’t congeal. There is a forward motion to yearning.”

~Gail Godwin

Every so often I feel unsettled. Not the obvious unsettled, but the deeper kind. A yearning, a restlessness, a something’s-going-on-here-and-I’m-not-quite-sure-what-it-is.

This past year has been a year of transition…a muddle-through-until-I-get-there kind of

And now I’m here and I’ve learned a lot.

One of the outcomes of this past year has been the power of yearning and the willingness to lean into it.

For a few weeks now, I’ve been working on a concept called Camp Marfa. The experiential program is one week-long and includes a nice mix of solitude, activities and group discussions. It’s for folks who are yearning, unsettled, needing a break, looking for inspiration, wanting to get outside.

Basically the camp will be a mirror to what it is you seek. (Isn’t life like that anyway?)

I wrote about it a few weeks back and the response was great. I’m posting again and wondering if you might like to join the folks who have already signed up?

Just email me at CampMarfa@gmail.com.

The dates for the first two Camp Marfa Experiences are:

April 27th through May 3rd

June 8th through June 14th

If those dates don’t work for you, still feel free to indicate your interest. If you can gather together four of more of your friends/family/coworkers, we can tailor a program.

And here’s the deal, I’m loving this work and preparing to do it for some time to come. (Maybe in other cities too.). What a nice feeling to land for a while. 💛💚🧡💜❤️

Happy Friday, friends.
