I’m listening to a collection of songs by Samuel Sim and writing, drinking coffee, sitting with the sunrise.
There’s a lot going on in the world. There’s ALWAYS a lot going on in the world.
Facebook is an interesting “thing.” Collectively it seems to paint a portrait of humankind. From the worst of actions to the most beautiful, it spans them all. I peruse through my newsfeed each morning and read the various posts many of you share.
I’m not one to share the worst of actions. It doesn’t mean I don’t see them or try to pretend they aren’t there. I’m actually grateful for those who do. Those need to be seen also.
Like I said, Facebook is the and/all/everything of humankind.
I’m just trying to figure out how to hold it all without letting it steal my joy, my enthusiasm for life, my belief that down deep within everyone, even the most hardened (and cruel even), is love.
These are the things I think about most mornings. This holding of it all, the temporary nature of everything, what I can do in the small space of my own life.
I don’t know what I’m going to do today. But I will do it when I know.
Good Morning Friends and a special shout out to Sharon Edwards. Happy Birthday!
