Some people call it magic. Some people call it coincidence. Some people call it God. Some people call it quantum physics.
Several days ago my good friend Lori Burgess dropped the words “Jeremiah 29:11 on one of my posts.
Now being totally honest, I’m not much of a bible person. Heck, I am not much of a book person at all! I like to figure things out for myself which makes me an experiential learner. (This also makes me very stubborn and often times resistant to advice.)
Anyway, I asked Lori to provide details for the quote and here’s what she wrote:
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Several days later…yesterday to be exact… I’m walking the dogs at a convenience store on the first leg of my drive out to Texas when I glance down at a bracelet I’ve been wearing for several months. I bought it because I liked the way it looked. Honestly? I didn’t take the time to read every word on it. I figured it was inspirational. I mean come on…I bought it at Amy’s Hallmark Store. (I know some folks will find that hard to believe. It’s the same reason I buy clothes for their fit and care less about the design on the fabric. I know…I’m quirky like that; oh and the last time I was in an Amy’s Hallmark store was probably 2003, buying beanie babies. Remember those?😂😂😂)
So I catch the word Jeremiah on the bracelet…and of course, you’ve already guessed it by now…the exact same scripture Lori quoted is the one on this very-hard-to-read-tangled-up-silver-and-gold bracelet.
Oh Universe! You are such a sneaky fellow.
